Mary become such an important part of lives in Olds House. Her flat was always a sanctuary from the hustle whether it was playing with Poppy, watching Point Break or worshipping the red light! We all had such fun, wonderful memories of her that we will always cherish. Thank you for brightening up our lives Mary

Regardless of the fact I wasn’t one of ‘her boys’ from Olds house, Mary embraced the idea of pastoral care like no other. I was always welcomed open armed to share thoughts, feelings and laughter.. A wonderful woman who was an excellent shoulder to lean on in my younger years. Kind, generous, funny, never to be forgotten. x

The first day Mary walked through the doors at Lancing, she brought a beaming smile and boundless energy - a far cry from what we had known previously. As if that wasn't enough to disarm us she came armed with Donuts a sure winner for 13-18year old boys - Marys Generosity was endless, always putting on pizza nights, movie nights, and cakes for afternoon tea hosting the hoards of boys always hungry, always wanting a little kindness. But it was the safe space she gave us all, fighting our corner when needed, always more willing to listen than opine, ever present in our pastoral care that I will remember the most. You played an incredibly important role for me a mother figure, when mine wasn't there. I will forever be grateful. I think of you often and miss you dearly.
